LINE BORING
Line Boring is a mechanical process used to enlarge an existing hole/bore on a component in quest to achieve a new surface. Its resurfacing the inner diameter of a bore to achieve a precise size and surface finish.
DRILLING AND TAPPING
Drilling and Tapping is a process of introducing a new hole with threads on a component. This process is also used to extract stuck or broken studs. Zithembile has portable drilling machines to perform such tasks at site and in awkward positions thereby reducing client downtime and costs.
FLANGE FACING
Flange Facing – this is a process of repairing cuts on sealing surfaces to prevent leaks of gas/fluids on various components i.e flanges, manhole doors, inspection holes or instrument pots. Zithembile has a wide range of sizes on flange facing equipment that they have used to meet client expectations.
PIPE CUTTING AND BEVELLING
Pipe Cutting and Beveling– it is a mechanical process used to prepare pipes for welding or other connections. it involves cold pipe cutting to specific lengths and angle at the edge of the pipe so as to increase the strength.
GANTRY MILLING
Gantry Milling- refers to the type of machining large or heavy workpieces that can not be rotated or moved easily. This process allows precision and efficient milling, drilling and boring operations on large components such as ship propellers, aerospace components, furnaces and various industrial machinery including the construction industry .
